8/24/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, 70 degrees, N wind at 10 mph. Water temp. 74 degrees. Went fishing with outdoor writer Dick Ellis, I had 1 1/2 hours to catch 4 species of fish. We were off the water in time for me to make it to church with my family. We caught 1 - 17 inch Walleye while trolling, 1 Largemouth Bass, split-shot rigging off of a main lake weed point, 20 Bluegills fishing off of a main lake weed point and 2 Crappies caught suspended over 25 ft. of water on purple plastics. The Pastor was glad to see me on a Sunday morning! Watch for Dick Ellis' article next week.

8/23/08 Lake Geneva - cloudy, 75 degrees, humid, SW wind at 15 mph. Water temp. 74 degrees. Caught 2 Largemouth, 1 Smallmouth and a bunch of Bluegills. Fishing again was slow. Fished by the South Shore Club (old military academy), Fontana Beach and by Abbey Springs. Sooner or later the fish will turn on.

8/21/08 Delavan lake - cloudy, 75 degrees, E wind at 10 mph. Water temp. 74 degrees. Caught 11 Largemouth - 4 were legal, 2 Northern Pike and many Bluegills. The Pike were caught west of the Yacht Club in 27 ft. of water. The Bluegills and Bass were caught on night-crawlers fished on a split shot rig. Today they were really on main lake weed points.

8/20/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, 70 degrees, E wind at 10 mph. Water temp. 74 degrees. Caught 6 Largemouth, 1 was legal; 1 Northern Pike - legal; and 50-60 Bluegills. The Pike was caught on a large sucker that was Lindy rigged. The Bass and Bluegills were caught on split-shot rigged night-crawlers. Weed points were the best locations.

8/19/08 Lake Geneva - sunny, 75 degrees, E wind at 15 mph. Water temp. 74 degrees. Caught 2 Smallmouth, 1 Largemouth and a bunch of Perch, Bluegills and Rock Bass. Fishing was quite slow. The best depth was 17 ft. of water. Fished night-crawlers on a split shot rig

8/17/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, 70 degrees, water temp. 73 degrees, winds SW at 10-15 mph. Caught 9 Largemouth - 2 legal, 1 Walleye and a bunch of Bluegills. Most of the Bass were caught split-shotting night-crawlers, a few of the Bass came on medium suckers fished on a Lindy rig in 20-25 ft. of water. We had a little problem today, some of the nicer fish on the suckers didn't hold onto the bait and we lost them. The best location was by Browns Channel.

8/16/08 Lake Geneva - sunny, SW winds at 10 mph. Water temp. 72 degrees. Caught 1- 20 inch Largemouth, 3 Smallmouth Bass, 1 Northern Pike and many Rock Bass and Bluegills. The Pike and Bass were caught on Lindy rigged Yellow Perch. The Rock Bass and Bluegills were caught on Lindy rigged night-crawlers. Fishing was kind of slow, the best depth was 28 ft. of water.

8/15/08 Lake Geneva - sunny, calm winds, 70 degrees, water temp. 72 degrees. Trolled for Lake Trout - caught 2, they were caught by Conference Point 68 ft. down in 110 ft. of water. Both were around 8 lbs.

8/14/08 Lake Geneva - sunny, calm winds, 70 degrees, water temp. 72 degrees. Trolled for Lake Trout the first two hours of daylight with no success. Trolled in 120 ft. of water, 80 ft. down.

8/9/09 Lake Geneva - cloudy, SW winds at 15 mph. Air temp. 70 degrees, water temp. 77 degrees. Caught one 13 lb Lake Trout. Trolled for Lake Trout in 115 ft. of water. The fish were 80-90 ft. down. The fish was caught on a nickel/blue spoon.

8/6/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, 80 degrees, N winds at 10 mph. Water temp. 77 degrees. Caught 12 Largemouth, 40-50 Bluegills. Most of the fish were caught between 20-25 ft. of water on the weed-line. The best location was the south shore near the Village. Used a split shot with 1/2 night-crawler.

8/4/08 Delavan Lake - rainy, thunderstorms, 84 degrees, SW winds at 15 mph. Water temp. 78. Had a short trip due to weather, caught 2 Largemouth Bass- 1 legal, 1 Walleye, 40-50 Bluegills. Most of the pan-fish were caught in 20-22 ft. on 1/2 night-crawlers. The earlier thunderstorms during the day slowed the fishing in the evening. The best location was by the Oriental Boat House.

8/3/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, 78 degrees, water temp. 79 degrees, SW wind at 5 mph. Caught 13 Largemouth - 2 legal, 1 Walleye and a bunch of Bluegills. Bluegills are all over the lake in the 20-21 ft. depth range. It has been hard to keep them off your line so you can catch the Bass.

8/2/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, 80 degrees, water temp. 80 degrees, N wind at 5 mph. Caught 14 Largemouth - 4 legal, 2 Northern Pike and 1 Walleye. Continued to fish the weed-lines for the Bass and use Lindy rigged suckers for the Pike. The Walleye came on a night-crawler fished on a split shot rig.

8/1/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, no wind, 80 degrees, water temp. 79 degrees. Caught 16 Largemouth and 3 Pike. The Largemouth were caught on the weed-lines with night-crawlers. I'm still using a split shot rig or a light Lindy rig for the Bass approximately 40% of the Bass have been legal. The Pike are still available on Lindy rigged suckers.

7/30/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, SW winds at 10 mph, 84 degrees, water temp. 78 degrees. Caught 40-50 Bluegills, 12 Largemouth, 1 Walleye and 2 Northerns. The weed-line bite remains very consistent in 15-18 ft. of water. The Pike were slow on this day although we did manage to catch a couple on Lindy rigged suckers.

7/28/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, no wind, 85 degrees, water temp. 76 degrees. Caught 15 Largemouth - 10 legal, 3 Walleyes and 3 Northerns. The fish were caught on main lake points in 15-18 ft. of water. Night-crawlers produced most of the action. The Pike were caught while Lindy rigging suckers in 20-25 ft. of water.

7/26/08 Delavan Lake - fished all day - 5:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. - sunny, 80 degrees, SW wind at 10 mph. Water temp. 76 degrees. Caught 35 Largemouth Bass, 10 were legal, 5 Northern Pike, 1 22 inch Walleye and a bunch of Bluegills. The Pike were caught on Lindy rigged suckers and the Bass and Walleye were taken with night-crawlers fished on a split-shot. Today was tough on the Pike - we had a lot of hits but they weren't taking the bait well.

7/25/08 Lake Geneva - cloudy, 75 degrees, winds out of the SW at 10 mph. Water temp. 75 degrees. Caught 1 Northern, 1 Smallmouth Bass and a bunch of Rock Bass and pan-fish. Fished 1 1/2 hours for Pike and only boated one, had one other one on. I was marking a lot of fish but they weren't biting. The one that was caught was in Fontana in 38 ft. of water. Fished Smallmouth Bass in 21 ft. of water.

7/24/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, 83 degrees, winds out of the SW at 10 mph. Water temp. 76 degrees. Caught 5 Northern Pike and 8 Largemouth Bass. The Pike were caught on Lindy rigged suckers, the Bass were caught on night-crawlers fished on a split-shot rig.

7/23/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, 75 degrees, light winds, water temp. 76 degrees. Caught 8 Northerns -2 were 31 inches, 10 Largemouth Bass - 5 were legal, and many pan-fish. The Pike were caught on Lindy rigged suckers, the Bass and pan-fish were caught on night-crawlers fished on a split shot rig.

7/22/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, 75 degrees, NE winds at 10-15 mph. Water temp. 76 degrees. Caught 5 Northerns, the largest was 31 inches, 9 Largemouth, the largest was 20 inches, 1 Walleye and 15-20 Bluegills. All the Northerns were caught on Lindy rigged suckers in 22-25 ft. of water. The Largemouth Bass were caught on the weed-line using a split shot and night-crawler.

7/20/08 Delavan Lake - cloudy, 83 degrees and humid. Light SW winds. Water temp. 76 degrees. Caught 5 Northerns, 22 Largemouth Bass - 4 were legal. Pike were in 20-24 ft. of water, again used suckers. Largemouth Bass came on night-crawlers fished on the deep weedline.

7/19/08 Delavan Lake - cloudy, rainy, 75 degrees, winds SW at 10 mph. Water temp. 76 degrees. Caught 8 Northerns and 18 Largemouth Bass - 4 were legal. The Pike came on suckers in 20-24. ft of water. Largemouth Bass came on night-crawlers fished on the weed-line.

7/18/08 Delavan Lake - partly cloudy, 85 degrees, light SW winds, Water temp. 76 degrees. Caught 5 Northerns and 20 Largemouth Bass - 7 were legal. The Pike came on suckers fished on a Lindy rig in 22-24 ft. of water. The Bass came off the deep weed-line in 16-18 ft. of water.

7/17/08 Lake Geneva - cloudy, 88 degrees, SW winds at 18 mph. Water temp. 75 degrees. Caught 1 Largemouth Bass and a bunch of pan-fish. Fished for 2.5 hours for Northerns and didn't get one bite. I worked a depth of 30-40 ft. That was brutal.

7/16/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, 88 degrees, west winds at 15 mph. Water temp. 74 degrees. Caught 15 Largemouth - 5 legal, 1 Northern, 1 Walleye and 1 Smallmouth Bass. All the Bass were caught on a split-shot rig with night-crawlers. The Pike were caught while Lindy rigging suckers. The best depth was 23 ft. of water.

7/15/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, SW winds at 5-10 mph. Water temp. 76 degrees. Caught 9 Northerns - 2 over 31 inches, and 5 Largemouth Bass. The Bass were caught on night-crawlers fished on a split-shot rig. The Pike were caught on suckers. The best depth was 22 ft. on the weed-line.

7/14/08 Lake Geneva - sunny, 83 degrees. SW winds at 10 mph. Water temp. 74 degrees. Caught 3 Smallmouth, 1 Northern and 2 Largemouth Bass. Caught plenty of Rock Bass as well. Working the deep weed-line for Smallmouth Bass in 21-25 ft. of water. They have not schooled up yet. Fished by Belvidere Park, South Shore Club (old military academy) and Coleman's Point.

7/12/08 Delavan Lake - cloudy, 75 degrees, water temp. 74 degrees. NW winds at 15-20 mph. Caught 2 Largemouth Bass and about 30 Bluegills. We were trying for Bluegills this day. We caught a few but the cold front really did affect them. Most of them were caught in 12-13 ft. of water.

7/9/08 Delavan Lake - partly sunny, 80 degrees, water temp. 74 degrees. N winds at 10-15 mph. Caught 5 Northerns, 11-12 Largemouth - 3 legal, 1 Smallmouth Bass - legal and 1 Walleye. The fish bit best just west of the Yacht Club point in 20 ft. of water. Most of the action came after 6 p.m. Night-crawlers provided most of the success. The Pike were caught on Lindy rigged suckers.

7/9/08 Lake Geneva - partly cloudy, 80 degrees, water temp. 75 degrees. N winds at 10 mph. Caught 2 Smallmouth Bass, 6 Largemouth - 5 were legal, one very nice one at 5 1/2 lbs. The best location was drifting from Coleman's Point to Knollwood. The best depth was 18-19 ft. of water.

7/8/08 Lake Geneva - partly sunny, 83 degrees, water temp. 75 degrees. SW winds at 15 mph. Caught 3 Northerns, the largest was 29 inches, 2 Smallmouth and 3 Largemouth Bass. The Pike were caught off of Cedar Point while Lindy rigging medium suckers. The best depth was 33 ft. of water. The Bass were caught by Elgin Club in 20-25 ft. of water.

7/6/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, 75 degrees, light winds out of the SW. Water temp. 72 degrees. Caught approx. 20 Largemouth -3 or 4 were legal, 9 Northern Pike - the biggest was 30 inches, 3 Walleyes and 1 Smallmouth about 20 inches. Great day on the water. We could have caught more Pike but we ran out of suckers. The Pike were caught on Lindy rigged suckers in 20-25 ft. of water. All the Pike came off of one 20 ft. section of weed-line. All other fish came off of split shot rigged night-crawlers right off the weed-line in 15-17 ft. of water.

7/5/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, 73 degrees and calm. Water temp. 72 degrees. Caught 15-20 Largemouth - 6 legal fish, 3 Walleyes and 3 Northern Pike. The same methods as the previous day were used (Lindy Rigging). The biggest fish came near Browns Channel. The biggest Bass came off a weed point in about 20 ft. of water.

7/4/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, 70 degrees and calm. Water temp. 72 degrees. Caught 13-14 Largemouth - 6 legals, 3 Pike - the biggest was 34 inches and 2 Walleyes. The fish came out of 20-24 ft. of water. The largest Pike came by the gray condos while fishing Lindy rigged suckers. The Bass and Walleye were caught on split shot rigged night-crawlers.

7/3/08 Delavan Lake - 70 degrees, East winds at 15-20 mph. Water temp. 72 degrees. Caught 7 Largemouth, 3 Pike, and 2 Walleyes. The Pike were caught on Lindy rigged suckers in 15-20 ft. of water. The Largemouth Bass came on main lake points while fishing a split shot rigged night-crawler.

6/28/08 Lake Geneva - sunny, 80 degrees, SW winds at 15-20 mph. Water temp. 71 degrees. Caught 10 Largemouth - 9 legals with the largest at 20 inches, 2 Smallmouth and a bunch of Rock Bass. The best depth seemed to be about 14 ft. of water. Fished Trinke's in 15-16 ft. of water and 12-13 ft. of water. The largest fish came by Linn Pier in 11 ft. of water. All fish were caught while drifting night-crawlers.

6/27/08 - Delavan Lake - 85 degrees and sunny, SW winds at 15 mph. Caught 7 Northerns, 6 Largemouth Bass and a bucket full of pan fish. The Pike were caught Lindy rigging suckers in 22-24 ft. of water. Fished mostly the south shore. The Largemouth Bass were caught while split-shotting night-crawlers on the weed-line. The pan fish were caught on plastics, purple was the best color. The weed-lines were the best locations.

6/25/08 p.m. - Delavan Lake - sunny, 85 degrees, water temp. 73 degrees. SW winds at 15 mph. Caught 7 Northern Pike, 3 Walleyes- 1 legal, and 3 Largemouth Bass. All the fish were caught on night-crawlers on the weed-line. Best depth was 20-22 ft. of water.

6/25/08 a.m. - Delavan Lake - cloudy, 75 degrees, light winds out of the SW, water temp. 73 degrees. Caught 4 Largemouth, 5 Walleye- 1 legal, and 20-30 Bluegills. Fished night-crawlers on a Lindy rig. The best location was by Browns Channel. Fished pretty much the entire south shore. The best depth was on the weed-line in 17-18 ft. of water.

6/24/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, 82 degrees, water temp. 73 degrees. Winds SW at 10-15 mph. Caught 50-60 Crappies. All the fish were caught on the weed-lines in 12 ft. of water. Purple plastic was the best bait. Fished the north shore by Browns Channel.

6/22/08 Lake Geneva p.m.- Sunny, 83 degrees, winds NW at 15 mph. Water temp. 67 degrees. Caught 4 Smallmouth and 5 Largemouth. Fishing was kind of slow as we fished mid-day. The boat traffic was pretty intense. Fished all over the lake, my customer wanted to learn different spots. The biggest Smallmouth came out of Fontana and the biggest Largemouth came by Knollwood.

6/22/08 Lake Geneva a.m. - sunny, 80 degrees, winds NW at 10-15 mph. Water temp. 67 degrees. Caught 7 Largemouth and 3 Smallmouth. Dragged night-crawlers around in 9-10 ft. of water. Fished from Coleman's point to Knollwood. The biggest Largemouth was 18 1/2 inches.

6/21/08 Lake Geneva - sunny, 80 degrees, winds NW at 10 mph. Water temp. 67 degrees. Caught 7 Largemouth and 4 Smallmouth and a whole lot of pan-fish. Some Perch were in excess of 12 inches. Dragged night-crawlers around in 9-12 ft. of water. Fished from Coleman's Point down through Knollwood.

6/21/08 Delavan Lake - rain then sun, 75 degrees, winds SW at 5-10 mph. Water temp. 70 degrees. Caught 7 Largemouth, 2 Smallmouth, and 4 Walleyes. Most of the fish were caught Lindy rigging night-crawlers in 15 ft. of water. Tried fishing for Pike with suckers and only caught 2 Smallmouth. Fished mostly on the south shore and by Browns Channel.

6/19/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, 80 degrees, no wind, water temp. 72 degrees. Caught 5 Largemouth, 1 Smallmouth, 1 Northern Pike that was 31 inches, 2 Walleye and a bunch of pan-fish. Fished the weed-line with night-crawlers. The pan-fish were caught casting small plastics. The best depth was 12 ft. of water. Fished by Browns Channel and the Yacht Club.

6/17/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, N winds at 15-20 mph, 82 degrees, water temp. 70 degrees. Caught 20-25 Largemouth Bass. The fish were in 3-4 ft. of water. Fished by Lake Lawn Lodge. All fish were caught on All Terrain Stiks. Green pumpkin was the best color.

6/16/08 Lake Geneva - Sunny, 80 degrees, NW winds at 5-10 mph. Water temp. 67 degrees. Caught 20-25 Bass, both Largemouth and Smallmouth. It's a good total however, we fished for 9 hours, so it was actually kind of slow. All of the fish were caught on night-crawlers fished on a split shot rig. The best depth was 10-12 ft. Fished by Coleman's Point and by Knollwood.

6/15/08 Happy Fathers Day - rained out this a.m., but I did get more practice trailering my boat.

6/14/08 Delavan Lake P.M. - Sunny, SW winds gusting up to 30 mph. 85 degrees, water temp. 67 degrees. Caught 8 Largemouth and a few pan-fish. The wind made fishing really brutal. Fished 3-4 ft. of water by Lake Lawn Lodge.

6/14/08 Delavan Lake A.M. - sunny, SW winds at 20 mph. 75 degrees, water temp. 67 degrees. Caught 19 Largemouth, 2 of them were over 20 inches. Worked in 3-4 ft. of water by Lake Lawn Lodge. Fished with green pumpkin All Terrain Stiks.

6/13/08 Lake Geneva P.M. - sunny, SW winds at 20 mph. 85 degrees, water temp. 65 degrees. Caught 13 Smallmouth and 1 Largemouth Bass and a bunch of pan-fish. Fished one spot the whole trip on the west end. The best depth was 9 ft. of water. Fished with night-crawlers.

6/13/08 Lake Geneva A.M. - sunny, W winds at 10-15 mph. 80 degrees, water temp. 62 degrees. Caught 6 Smallmouth and 6 Largemouth. The best depth was 9 ft. of water. Fished by Elgin Club and the South Shore Club (old military academy). The South Shore Club was better. We dragged night-crawlers.

6/9/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, S winds at 5 mph. Water temp. 64 degrees. Caught 34 Largemouth Bass. All fish were caught in 3-4 ft. of water by Lake Lawn Lodge. Fished All Terrain Sticks, Green pumpkin color.

6/8/08 Lake Geneva - cloudy & rainy, 75 degrees, winds out of the SW at 15 mph. Water temp. 60 degrees. Caught 5 Smallmouth and a bunch of Rock Bass. The best location was in 12-15 ft. of water off the South Shore Club (old military academy). Drifted night-crawlers and fished small hair jigs.

6/7/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, 85 degrees, winds 20 mph. out of the SW. Water temp. 62 degrees. Caught 20 Largemouth, 2 Smallmouth and 1 Northern Pike. Fished most of the day. The best success came from fishing Senkos in 4-6 ft. of water. Fished the west end of the lake. Some fish were caught off the weed-line.

6/6/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, 85 degrees, winds 35-40 mph. out of the SW. Water temp. 62 degrees. Caught 1 Walleye, 7 Largemouth and a couple of Crappies. The Bass and Walleye were caught in 20-21 ft. of water right on the weed-line. The wind made it nearly impossible to fish. All fish were caught on night-crawlers.

6/1/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, 70 degrees, and at last - no wind. Water temp. 62 degrees. Caught 6 Largemouth, 15 Crappies and about 6 Bluegill. The Bass in the shallow weeds have slowed. The Crappies on the weed-line were going strong. Caught all of our Bluegills in about 1 ft. of water. They are preparing to spawn so that bite should be good in the next week or so.

5/31/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, 60 degrees, N winds at 20-25 mph. Water temp. 61 degrees. Caught 4 Largemouth and 25 Crappies. Fishing was tough today and I have no reason why. The Crappies remain on the weed-line in 8-10 ft. of water. All the Crappies were caught on purple plastic.

5/30/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, 70 degrees, N winds at 20 mph. Water temp. 60 degrees. Caught 20-25 Largemouth, all on All Terrain Sticks, green pumpkin was the best color. Fished no deeper than 4 ft. of water, fished near the outlet and Viewcrest.

5/27/08 Delavan Lake - cloudy, 45 degrees, N winds at 20-25 mph. Water temp. 59 degrees. Caught 20 Largemouth, all averaged about 3-4 lbs. We had a 20 degree cold front from the previous day but the fish still bit. Fished 1 1/2 - 2 ft. of water. Fished All Terrain Stiks, green pumpkin was the best. Fished near the outlet.

5/26/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, 60 degrees, SW winds at 20 mph. Water temp. 59 degrees. Caught 50 Crappies, all on purple plastics. The best depth was 8-10 ft. of water. The best location was Browns Channel.

5/25/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, 65 degrees, SW winds at 15-20 mph. Water temp. 58 degrees. Caught 2 Largemouth, a few Bluegills and a bunch of Crappies. Fishing was really tough. I fished by the outlet, Lake Lawn and Browns Channel. The Crappies came out of 12-15 ft. of water on small plastics.

5/24/08 Lake Geneva - sunny, 65 degrees, E wind at 10 mph. Water temp. 52 degrees. Caught 6 Largemouth, 2 Smallmouth and a few pan-fish and Rock Bass. Most of the success came on night-crawlers fished in Geneva Bay. I was working a depth of 4-6 ft. of water. The Smallmouth Bass were caught on small jigs.

5/21/08 Lake Geneva - sunny, 60 degrees, winds NW at 15 mph. Water temp. 52 degrees. Caught 1 Largemouth, 1 Crappie and 1 Bluegill. Fishing was really slow. Only fished for an hour or so. All the fish were caught in Abbey Harbor.

5/18/08 Delavan Lake - partly cloudy and 55 degrees, NW winds at 15 mph. Water temp. 54 degrees. Caught 26 Largemouth Bass. All the Bass were caught on a split shot rigged night-crawler in 4 ft. of water. Most of the fish were caught near the outlet.

5/17/08 Delavan Lake - sunny and 60 degrees, NW winds at 20 mph. Water temp. 54 degrees. Caught 21 Largemouth - 2 legal, and 5 Crappies. The Bass were caught on night-crawlers fished on a split shot rig. The Crappies were caught in 15 ft. of water near the Yacht Club; purple plastics were the best bet.

5/15/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, 55 degrees, NW winds at 10 mph. Water temp. 55 degrees. Caught 40 Crappies on purple plastics and 10 Largemouth Bass and 1 Northern pike. The Crappies were caught in 12-15 ft. of water. The best location was near Browns Channel. The Bass were caught in 4-6 ft. of water by the outlet.

5/12/08 Delavan Lake - sunny, 60 degrees, wind out of the SW at 5 mph. Water temp. 54 degrees. Caught 9 Largemouth, 2 that were close to 5 lbs., and 12 Crappie. The Largemouth Bass were caught in 4-5 ft. of water near the outlet. Fished a green All Terrain Stick. The Crappies were caught in 12-15 ft. of water on yellow plastics.

5/11/08 Delavan Lake - rainy and cloudy, 50 degrees, water temp. 52 degrees, N winds at 15-20 mph. Caught 10 Largemouth and 15 Crappies. The cold front stymied the fish. Very few fish were moving. Most of the fish were caught in 4-6 ft. of water. Caught a few Crappies in 12 ft. of water, yellow plastics were the best.

5/10/08 Delavan Lake - Partly cloudy, 60 degrees, water temp. 54 degrees, winds SE at 5 mph. Caught 16 Largemouth and 40 Crappie. The best depth for the Largemouth was 4-6 ft. of water. We fished with All Terrain Sticks - green pumpkin was the best color. The Crappies were caught in 12-15 ft. of water on yellow cubby jigs
